TRIPS I RECOMMEND

These are destinations I come back to because they consistently deliver great experiences for the families I work with.

Every recommendation is here for a reason. Some make family travel easier. Some create incredible opportunities to reconnect. Others are simply places where the right property can completely change the experience.

These aren't the only place I plan, but they are destinations I know well and confidently recommend when they're the right fit.

HOW I CHOOSE WHAT I RECOMMEND

I don't recommend destinations because they're trendy or hotels because they have the most stars.

I recommend places that make travel easier and more enjoyable for the families I work with.

That means thoughtful service, smart locations, comfortable room layouts, good food, and properties that can help the parents relax instead of giving them more to manage.

The best vacation isn't always the most expensive one.

It's the one that's the right fit for your family.

Every destination below fills a different role.

Some are perfect for a long weekend close to home. Others are bucket-list adventures. Some are built around exceptional resorts, while others are destinations where choosing the right hotel makes all the difference.

The common thread is simple:

I recommend them because I believe they consistently create better vacations for the families I serve.

BOSTON & SALEM

Walkable history, great food, and a city that's easy to explore as a family.

Best for:

Families who like history, food, walkable cities, museums, seasonal trips, and a trip with more substance than sitting by a pool.

Why it's on my list:

Boston is compact, walkable, and easy to build around. Add Salem, coastal towns, or a few well-chosen experiences, and it becomes a strong Northeast family trip without needing to over-plan every hour.

BETHANY BEACH, DE

A quieter beach vacation where the pace is slower and the boardwalk isn't overwhelming.

Best for:

Families who want a quieter beach week without Ocean City chaos.

Why it's on my list:

Bethany works well for classic summer beach trips: beach days, boardwalk, ice cream, mini golf, bikes, and a slower pace. It is not flashy. That is part of the appeal.

PALM SPRINGS, CA

Sunshine, pools, and resorts where parents get to enjoy vacation too.

Best for:

Families who want sunshine, great pools, and a vacation that doesn't require rushing from one attraction to the next.

Why it's on my list:

Palm Springs reminds people that vacation doesn't have to be busy to be memorable. The right resort gives everyone room to recharge, whether that's the kids in the pool or parents finally finishing a cup of coffee while it's still hot.

TURKS & CAICOS

Beautiful water, thoughtfully chosen resorts, and an easy beach vacation.

Best for:

Families who want to unpack once, spend their days by the water, and actually relax.

Why it's on my list:

Turks & Caicos isn't about checking off a list of attractions. It's about choosing a resort that fits your family, then letting the beach, the water, and the service do what they're supposed to do: make a vacation feel like a vacation.

ALASKA

One of the few destinations where the way you experience it matters just as much as the destination itself.

Best for:

Families looking for incredible scenery, wildlife, and a once-in-a-lifetime adventure that blends exploration with comfort.

From glaciers to wildlife, Alaska is unforgettable. The key is choosing the right way to experience it for your family.

HERSHEY, PA

A simple, fun getaway that doesn't require a plane ticket to make lasting memories.

Best for:

Local families, younger kinds, long weekends, first theme-park-style trips, and easy school break getaways.

Why it's on my list:

Hershey is simple in the best way. The hotels, park, Chocolate World, ZooAmerica, and seasonal events make it easy to build a fun family trip without over complicating it.

THE POCONOS, PA

From waterparks to mountain lodges, choosing the right resort makes all the difference.

Best for:

Drivable family resort getaways, waterpark weekends, winter breaks, and families who what built-in activities.

Why it's on my list:

The Poconos can mean a lot of different things, which is exactly why guidance matters. A waterpark resort, Woodloch-style family resort, ski weekend, and quiet mountain escape are not the same trip.

ISLAMORADA

The Florida Keys without the crowds and constant activity.

Best for:

Families who want a slower Florida Keys escape with space, water, and resort convenience without the chaos of a major theme-park trip.

Why it's on my list:

Kayaks on a sandy beach with palm trees and colorful huts

La Siesta gives families a more relaxed Keys experience with room to spread out, access to resort amenities, and the kind of setting where the property can help carry the trip.

JACKSON HOLE & GRAND TETON

Western adventure, wildlife, and incredible scenery, without giving up comfortable places to stay.

Best for:

Families looking for a national park vacation with beautiful scenery, wildlife, outdoor adventure, and comfortable places to come home to each evening.

Why it's on my list:

Jackson Hole combines unforgettable scenery with family-friendly resorts, ranches, and experiences that make exploring Grand Teton National Park feel exciting, not overwhelming.

COSTA RICA

Wildlife, rainforest, beaches, and adventure without giving up comfort.

Best for:

Families who want wildlife, rainforest, beaches, and outdoor adventure without giving up comfort.

Costa Rica makes it easy for families to experience nature together. The right itinerary keeps the trip manageable while turning every day into a new adventure.

NOT EVERY TRIP NEEDS THE SAME LEVEL OF PLANNING

Every family doesn't need the same level of support.

Some travelers want me to handle every reservation, every moving piece, and every detail from start to finish through Full-Service Planning.

Others prefer to make their own reservations but still want a professionally designed travel plan before they book anything.

With Planning-Only, I create a Personalized Travel Plan with recommended hotels, activities, dining suggestions, and trusted booking resources. I provide the Personalized Travel Plan. You make the reservations.

The goal isn't to sell the same service to everyone.

It's to recommend the level of planning that fits both your trip and how  you like to travel.

WHY THE RIGHT PROPERTY MATTERS

The hotel isn't just where you sleep.

It can completely change how a vacation feels.

The right room setup helps everyone sleep better.

The right location saves hours of unnecessary driving.

A great kids' program gives parents time to recharge.

Thoughtful service means fewer problems to solve while you're away.

That's why I spend so much time choosing where my clients stay.

Sometimes the best part of the vacation is the property itself.

NOT SURE WHICH TRIP IS RIGHT FOR YOUR FAMILY?

You don't have to know exactly where you want to go before we talk.

Many of my clients come to me with a season, general budget range, or simply an idea of how they want the trip to feel.

We'll figure out the destination together.

Because choosing the right trip is every bit as important as planning it well.
