BEST TRIP LENGTH FOR HERSHEY
For most families, I would look at:
2 NIGHTS
Best for a quick weekend, especially for families within driving distance.
3 NIGHTS
This is probably the sweet spot. It gives families enough time to enjoy the park, Chocolate World, ZooAmerica, hotel time, and a slower morning without rushing.
4 NIGHTS
This can work during summer, holiday events, or if the family wants a slower pace. Beyond that, I would want a clear reason for staying longer.

THE HOTEL HERSHEY
For families looking for a more elevated experience, The Hotel Hershey is where I'd start. It combines the classic Hershey experience with a more refined atmosphere, beautiful grounds, and amenities that make it feel like part of the vacation rather than just a place to sleep.
It's especially nice for milestone trips or multigenerational vacations where the adults want the hotel to be part of the experience too.
Best fit: Celebration trips, multigenerational families, couples traveling with children, and families who want a more upscale resort experience.
Watch-out: It comes with a higher price tag, and for families planning to spend nearly all of their time at Hersheypark, the extra investment may not always add value.
VALUE HOTELS NEARBY
Not every Hershey trip needs a resort hotel.
Sometimes a clean, comfortable hotel with free breakfast and a convenient location is the smartest choice, especially for a shorter getaway. Saving on accommodations can free up room in the budget for experiences that matter more to your family.
