Alaska isn't one trip.
Some families are best served by a cruise. Others want to combine a cruise with a land journey, while some prefer an entirely land-based adventure.

Alaska is one destination where I usually recommend Full-Service Planning.
A land journey can involve multiple destinations, accommodations, transportation, rail or rental cars, excursions, limited seasonal availability, and a lot of decisions that depend on one another.
This isn't a trip where I want to hand you a list of recommendations and leave you responsible for making all the pieces fit.
PLANNING-ONLY
For an Alaska land journey, I generally don't offer Planning-Only.
There are too many interconnected pieces for me to feel comfortable providing recommendations without managing how the overall trip comes together.
A straightforward Alaska cruise can be different. If you prefer to make your own reservations or have a specific reason for doing so, Planning-Only may be appropriate for the cruise portion of the trip.
