No.You can come to me with a specific destination, a few ideas, or nothing more than, "We desperately need a vacation."During our consultation, I'll ask about your family, how you like to travel, how much time you have, what has worked before, and what you need from this trip. Choosing the right destination can be part of the work I do for you.You do not need to research the trip before you're ready to ask me to research the trip.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING THE CONSULTATION?

We'll spend about 20-30 minutes talking about your family and the trip you're considering. I'll ask the questions I need to understand what you're looking for, what matters most, and what needs to work for this vacation to be successful.This isn't a sales presentation, and you don't need to prepare a giant list of information beforehand.After our conversation, I'll determine the planning approach that makes sense for your trip and provide a clear planning-fee quote.

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN FULL-SERVICE PLANNING AND PLANNING-ONLY?

Full-Service Planning is for travelers who want the trip taken off their plate. I hand the research, recommendations, reservations, coordination, and major logistics from planning through travel.Planning-Only is for travelers who want my professional recommendations but want or need to make their own reservations. I create a Personalized Travel Plan with recommended accommodations, activities, practical guidance, and trusted booking resources. I provide the roadmap; you make the reservations.Planning-Only works particularly well if you're using points, loyalty benefits, military discounts, direct-booking benefits, or simply prefer to control your own reservations.

No.I don't offer hourly consultations or DIY planning sessions.If you want professional recommendations while retaining control of your own reservations, that's exactly what Planning-Only is designed for. Instead of trying to take notes during an hour-long conversation, you'll receive an actual Personalized Travel Plan built for your trip.
